If you have lost your identity card, driver's license, passport, or vehicle registration document, you are required to immediately report the fact to the police in the place of loss, and then request the issuance of a new duplicate document in your place of residence. At the same time, you are required to publish the document (except for the identity card) as invalid in the Official Gazette.
In the event of subsequent discovery of the document, you are required to immediately return it to the competent authority that issued the document.
