A foreigner who has been granted permanent residence and has reached the age of 18 shall be issued an identity card for a foreigner by the competent authority of the place where the foreigner has registered permanent residence.
Before submitting an application for the issuance of an identity card, the foreigner is obliged to contact the Ministry of Security of BiH - Service for Foreigners' Affairs for the assignment of a JMB. The foreigner is obliged to submit an application for the issuance of an identity card within 8 days from the date of receipt of the decision on the approval of permanent residence.
The following shall be attached to the request:
proof of approved permanent residence,
proof of identity of the foreigner (travel document),
proof of payment of prescribed fees.
